Assistance infoConsulat
Mon formulaire rempli a disparu.
infoConsulat support
A question, a lookup that will not answer, information that is wrong? Write to me. The app is made and maintained by one person, in Montréal.
Contact
Email is the only support channel, and it reaches the developer directly. Say which procedure is involved and which version of iOS you are on; do not include a NIN, a file number or any identity document — I do not need them and can do nothing with them.
Frequent questions
My appointment does not show up. The lookup searches for the exact email address the booking was made with. Try the other address you use, with no space before or after it. If a relative booked it for you, it is their address you need to enter.
The passport or national-service lookup will not answer. Both query a Consulate server that is regularly down, particularly in the evening and at weekends. The app can do nothing about it: try again later. If it fails for several days running, tell me.
The status shown looks wrong or out of date. The app calculates nothing: it shows word for word what the Consulate's tracking service replies. If that reply is wrong, the Consulate is who to ask — I have no access to your file.
The required documents have changed. The text of each procedure is taken from the Consulate's public website without rewording, and checked at each update. If it has changed since, write to me and I will correct it; until then, the Consulate's website is what counts.
My filled-in form has disappeared. Drafts are saved on the device only, with no copy anywhere else. Deleting the app, or reinstalling it on another phone, erases them for good — share or print an important form once you have filled it in.
Is this the official app? No. See below.
Can I complete a procedure inside the app? No. infoConsulat explains, tracks and prepares forms; the applications themselves are filed with the Consulate or on the official portals, which the app points you to.
Contacting the Consulate
For anything touching a file — a date, a missing document, a status you dispute — the Consulate is who to contact, not me. Its current details and opening hours are published on its website:
Reporting an error
A typo, an out-of-date fee, a form that will not open, a document no longer required: these are the most useful reports, and they get fixed first. Name the procedure and, if you can, the line concerned.
infoConsulat is an independent app, made by a national for the Algerian community of Montréal. It is neither published nor endorsed by the Consulate General of Algeria in Montréal. Its information comes from the Consulate's public website and may change; when in doubt, contact the Consulate directly.
